When I started looking for ways to make money from home, I didn’t want hype.
I didn’t want “make $10,000 in 30 days.”
I didn’t want to go live.
I didn’t want to message strangers.
And I definitely didn’t want to sell something I didn’t believe in.
What I wanted was simple:
To make $500–$1000 a month from home in a realistic, steady way.
Here’s the plan I’m following.
Step 1: Small Flexible Income (Short Term)
Right now, I’m spending about 1–2 hours a day working online.
I’m focusing on:
- Research platforms like Prolific
- Small online tasks
- Testing what’s actually worth my time
This isn’t meant to replace an income.
It’s meant to:
- Cover small expenses
- Build confidence
- Fund my long-term plan
Step 2: Building a Blog (Long Term Income)
Instead of chasing every new “easy money” idea, I decided to build something of my own.
That’s why I created Stay At Home Hustle.
Blogging allows me to:
- Work quietly
- Share what I learn
- Build traffic over time
- Eventually earn through affiliate marketing
This part takes patience.
But unlike surveys, it can grow.
Step 3: Affiliate Marketing (When It Makes Sense)
I will not promote things I don’t use or trust.
That’s important to me.
The plan is:
- Test platforms myself
- Share honest reviews
- Recommend only what works
- Earn commission if someone signs up
No pressure.
No cold messaging.
No pretending to be someone I’m not.
Step 4: Digital Products (Future Goal)
Eventually, I’d love to create simple digital products like:
- Budget printables
- Organization templates
- Income trackers
- Resource guides
That’s not step one.
That’s later.
Right now, I’m building the foundation.
The Truth About $500–$1000 a Month
It won’t happen overnight.
But here’s what I believe:
Small consistent action beats starting over every month.
If I:
- Publish weekly
- Improve over time
- Test honestly
- Stay consistent
It’s possible.
And I’m documenting the journey as I go.
If you’re trying to quietly build income from home too —
You’re not behind.
You’re just building.
